Some shots from the last few days.
Ever wondered where dragonflies go in the early evening?

Now some macros

I've got pollen in my eye

Well I Haven't - it's stuck on my legs- well not much in my eyes.

This hoverfly strayed too close to a "red & White" spider

This shield bug obviously got too close as well- parcelled up ready to go.

Earlier on a male common darter dragonfly posed

Followed shortly after by a female

Hey Brian,
I was causally enjoying your shots. The shield bug really caught my eye, but then, the male darter just jumped out of the screen for me:bow. The color contrast against the black background is just too much for me. The detail in the dragon as well as the spider threads is:thumb. For me, it's a shot above the rest.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

I like the comments for each photo, quite humorous.

First post here....

Love your shots; the last one has to be my favorite. I see dragonflies once in a while here (Wichita KS), but my crazy dog chases them away. Then again, she chases everything, and if she gets it, she eats it :1drink

I liked the shieldbug- looks like a cross between a spaceship and a pterodactyl.

Yes I have the same problem with our cat- seems to like the large dragonflies, trouble is he brings them in the house and then lets them go :rofl
