These are terrific! I never shoot at night, so I really appreciate the work of those who do. I find it fascinating. I love the ghostly people in the second shot. The Capitol shot is the best, IMO. The lighting is terrific, especially with the subtle beams coming from the dome. The reflections are beautiful.

Welcome to DGrin! I look forward to more of your work.

I love your shot of Rosslyn from across the river. Where did you take it from, Kennedy Center?

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the welcome and the nice comments!

I shoot often at night. For some reason I'm fascinated with the idea of capturing detail in the darkness.

The photo of Rosslyn was taken from the Memorial Bridge at 11:57pm.

If you look closely at the White House photo, along the top you'll see another 'ghost' which was one of the secret service guys pacing back & forth while the shot was taken. It's that faint white trail on the right side.

I really like the way you've presented familiar subjects in new ways by shooting at night. Takes the mundane out of it and brings back the wonder. Nice job.

Ah-ah! I knew there had to be Secret Service in that shot someplace! I hope you'll post more of your night shots, since that's your passion. I'll look forward to seeing them.
