I was in DC last week. It was a family trip so I didn't have much time to go out on my own and shoot. I settled for shots of the Metro stations we passed through. This was fine with me since I really like the sleek and futuristic look of the Metro stations in DC. The dim lighting makes them sort of mysterious and spooky too. I was shooting with my Canon 20D with the ef-s 17-55 f2.8 IS, mostly ISO 800 or 1600, PP in Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta 2.

Anyway here are a few of my favorites...

I hope you and your family had a great time in DC. The metro is such a cool place, you could do a whole book of shots from underground. Thanks for sharing! I miss the blinky platform lights already :lol3
