Disappearing images

A got a private email from a DGrin'er today about this link in one of my galleries:

The problem was originally that one image was entirely missing, with the thumbnail replaced by a filename. Now the image appears to be there, but only half of it.

Wondering what is going on.

Which would seem the logical answer. Except that gallery is old. This appears to be a new problem, somehow.

Also note that earlier this morning that web page looked different.
