Went to take more shots with the new lens which is only just 1 week old now. Managed to get some sand grit in the lens somehow and a bit of a saltwater splash. The grit seemed to disappear with the rocket blower and I don't think the splash really got anywhere....however I was crushed for the rest of the morning lol :rolleyes

The first photo processed ok, the other couple after this had the Cokin GND8 and had very bad color casting, hence the color of them after trying to remove the cast.

Although I prefer the color in the first, I love the comp in the second. The rocks are a perfect foreground! Glad to hear everything worked out OK with your lens. When it gets really bad, you can call it a pepper mill :lol3

I think the second one is fantastic! I can't help but think 'Mars'!
