Interplay of fog and sun

A couple of days ago we were at the beach when the sun was able to poke a hole thru the fog. Watching the sun and fog play, the result on the beach was fascinating to me. This is just straightened, cropped and adjusted, no burning in or dodging was used.

I think it's a very special magical light moment. I'll probably make a print of this one for my wall too!

I've enjoyed your lighthouses! This is toward the end of the magical light, then the fog took over and we were back in the gloom. However, I don't do well in the heat, and the fog keeps us cool. We actually had a little bit of sun today, but Steve's white pelican find dragged me into the heat! :-)

Lovely Dee - great catch of just the right lighting, but great composition also. Nice color/tone range in the purple - blues.
