Getting a little SQUIRRELy

I feel Harry's pain regarding not getting out to shoot. I've not gotten out in about a month due to a torn up knee. Awaiting surgery so hope to be out and about soon. I am pretty lucky that I have plenty of activity in the backyard to shoot. :D :clap I have not been able to walk down to the beach or water ways for a while now. I am getting a bit squirrely. :rofl

We have ground squirrels at the beach... but not a lot of tree squirrels in our immediate area.

I used to watch them in Silicon Valley run along the roof tops.

Your photos bring back memories of when I lived back east and squirrels lived in trees and not in the ground :):

Its a bummer not being bale to get out and shoot. Two weeks is making me crazy. I wouldn't want to even think about a couple of months. :uhoh

Squirrel shots are fine & sharp, at least ya got a backyard to shot. Could you imagine if ya lived in an apt. :wow :cry

Thanks for the well wishes and comments. I've been putting off the knee surgery. It's not painful. Just makes walking any distance difficult. Well....that and makes me look kind of funny with the "gimp limp" Still holding out hope I might be able to avoid the whole thing...but the meniscus is definitely torn. :dunno The worse thing about it all is I can't chase the women at the beach with my camera. :thumb <wink wink>

The tree rats down here are so small compared to back home in Illinois. I think some of the chamaeleons down here could whoop these squirrels. I guess I'm pretty lucky to have so much wildlife running wild in my backyard.:clap
