Testing the beta api?

Ok, so I really want to send out my Gallery Widget for OS X, but it relies on the fixes that are handled with the beta api. Don says we need more testing before the changes are released to production, so I am calling for an all hands on deck for testing. So please; anyone who is using the api, point your code to the beta api and test it out. Use this thread for any problems you may find, thanks!

There are some reported bugs with the beta API which Don has never replied to. I found these two which I am waiting on. Probably there are others.
What's the status of fixes for reported bugs?
