watermarks not appearing on photos

i keep finding weird glitches and i don't know if it is me or smugmug

my watermarks are in my slideshow but not on my photos. please see

Sometimes watermarking is a bit like the rotate feature--it works in spurts. I usually set watermarking on when I create the gallery that way the images are watermarked when they're uploaded. I haven't had any real issues that way.
