Good shots Thomas- particularly like pics#1 and #3, seems much harder to get an interesting shot of a flower rather than a bug!

We obviously had the same idea this morning- here's one I did of a flower head on the herb oregano. Thought it looked like a bridal bouquet (for a very small bride) Image is focus stacked from 3 pics- just realised there is a tiny bug in there if you look carefully :rofl

Hey Brian,
Nice shot. I did manage to find the "bug" after a bit of looking around :-). I have yet to experiment with the focus stacking thing. Does it work ok handheld or do you need a tripod? Thanks for looking.

Yes does work handheld- above shot was handheld- reckon the "failure rate" is about 50% though. Probably should use a tripod for flower shots at least apart from the fact that that flower head was about 8" above the ground.

I think you are correct about the spider Path. I zoomed in but still can't tell for sure.

Thanks for looking Sam.
