Everyday the day laborors gather on a street corner and wait for various contractors or landscapers to pick them up for a day of hard work in the hot sun. When the day is over they gather on the beach to reflect on the day, do a little fishing and dream of what it's like to live in those mansions across the harbor. Tonight I decided to try and get a picture of them..

Evening Eric
I think this would be a tad better if you could lighten the fisherman a bit.
Oh and about your story, same exact thing goes on here on the Left coast, go figure buddy :D

Hi Eric,
Each day I drive down a small connector street where the day laborers gather. Unfortunately, when the day is over, there is not beach, no fishing, just the run down trailer parks and dirty apartments for them. Many of these workers are better off than where they came from, but not as good as the people they are working for.
Pretty hard to capture their plight. What I see in the photo is a couple of fishermen having a wonderful evening, contrary to your story.
Thanks for sharing,
Chris
