The bunny emerged and saw no shadow.
Thus predicting early Fall.

Hope she is right, I'm so tired of this Arizona's heat already. The 100+ weather is crippling my photo opportunities. I am even way behind with my regular bunnies pictures since it's too hot for them to be outside.

But it rained these past few days and finally I am able to took some new bunnies pictures for our rabbit rescue. This little gal reminds me what I missed during the summer.

AWWWWWWWW!

ginger, I thought it was 100 degrees in Phoenix today. Or is that tomorrow.

But I always here that it really isn't hot as it is a dry heat.:rofl .

(The challenge is on dry this time: dry heat?)

Nice bunny shot. For some reason, "Kilroy was here" comes to mind.

Now, if you are really into bunnies, make a trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. When I was there a couple of weeks ago shooting lighthouses, I saw them just north of Bodie Lighthouse running in herds of 50-100 bunnies beside the roadway. I ain't never seen that many rabbits in one place before in my life. If Alfred Hitchcock was still living, he would have been inspired to make a movie named "The Bunnies."

Hi Jeff,
You are not the only one that think that way about Nikon's ISO.
My wife is my number one heckler, she keeps telling me how my high ISO shots are so noisy compare to Canon's :D
That made me sensitive about the noise and I'll try to compensate if I can and need to. At ISO 800 & above, I try to overexpose by 1 or 2 stop to minimize the noise. The noise is acceptable enough to keep the wife from heckling :rofl

This shot is not it though, I usually shot in A mode and I just kept it at either f/4 or f/5.6. That day was cloudy and I'm confident enough with ISO400 noise so I can maintain safe SS to minimize blur in heavily shaded area.

Hi Ginger,
It is usually dry heat and oddly, I found it tolerable than 100 with humidity.
It's monsoon season (that's why it has been hovering around 100 lately) and the humidity is just too much. Much prefer 110 with no humidity.

Hi Dixie,
That should makes some interesting shot.
I'd love to catch them fighting or running around.
You must've near their warren (nest), that's why there are so many of them. Their reproduction rate is amazing :rofl
Maybe one day I can go there.

There must have been more than one warren because they were thick as thieves for about 2-3 miles. If you do ever get to go to the Outer Banks be sure and check out the lighthouses. That's why I went there. Here is the Bodie Island Lighthouse near where I saw all the rabbits.
