I'm surprised nobody has commented on this one yet. I like it a lot, Ben. The aspect ratio is a little unusual. I would be tempted to crop some from the bottom, then boost the contrast ever so slightly. Nice DOF. :thumb

I think the first one works much better. There's no real connection between them in the second.

#1 with a crop just above the child's waistband. I'd like a tad more light on the man's eyes I think. Nice composition. :clap

What a sweet capture!! I love the serious look on the man's face, the gentle curve of the child's face and position of the head suggesting trust and connection with the man, and the contrast between his grizzly beard and the child't soft curly hair.

This one speaks to me.

Wonderful capture! I like the connection between the generations. Brighter on the second version (of the first shot) is better!
