i was trying to catch the lead singer/bass player of the blue scene as he was coming onto the stage, but my heavy 70-200 f2.8 didn't really get there in time, so i got this shot. even though it wasnt my original plan, the second i took it, i knew that i liked it.
how do you feel about it?

Well you asked, please don't take offence.
If it was my shot I'd hit the delete key and not give it a second thought.
:uhoh
If you like it, that's really cool.

Only in a very long series, or a very large composite, would work there.

You beat this one (http://community.webshots.com/photo/353898626/353955299pvmfoa). :D I like it a little, but something feels not right. It would be great if all you had in focus was the player (or the top end of his bass guitar), and all the rest would be blurred (but now you have the in focus stairs that bother me a bit), or if you'd see a little more movement in the player itself.

Gotta say it looks just like what it is: a shot that cuts off his head. What is it that you like?
