Stunning, all of them. I like 3, 4 and 6 ( unusual pose ) the best tough. They show slight colour casts on my monitor, intentional ?

She's much more attractive when she's smiling. :)

Very attractive young lady, and good shots! Definitely long and lean.

XO,

I reallly love this. It isn't really using her height to the best advantage, but they are great shots of her and I love the juxtaposition. The first shot suffers from my most common mistake, aiming high. I just posted a question about this: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=16235

#3 is the shot that uses her height and leanness to best advantage.

What if you added another element to the brew, something to show of her size by comparison. I'd say an ocelot, but that's been done and they are hard to find and dangerous. A partner? See how this works on one of my all time favorite album covers:

Avedon used all kinds of props to emphasize his models' height: elephants, snakes.

I'm not really crazy about the full body shots. I think perhaps a different dress or something? I think she's a gorgeous girl and I think the photos are done GREAT as far as quality.. but something just doesn't sit right with me. It looks like she's bending.
I realize I'm probably in the minority. Sorry.

More from this series to come, with a different outfit.

And I agree, this black dress is somewhat of a mixed blessing for this model.

#3 is my fave

#6 is fun and goofy. I like it.

Re-shoot #1, let her hair fall more to cover half her face, and work on the expression underneath it. You've got something there though.

Damn. Where can *I* find myself girls willing to be shot like this?

How many have you asked in the last year?
I truly and honestly use Yuri as my motivation and ask? I have gotten better at asking, and I am no longer afraid to ask. I have enough experience and examples behind me to break the seal/ice, and after sending them to my smugmug site, or handing them a busines card, the 'models' can see that what it is I do is a legit proposition. I do offer TFP quite a bit or TFCD (Time For Prints/Time For CD), but this allows me to build that experience and in a way portfolio that has already started landing me paying work. Now for me photography is a hobby, and to offset my income from my regular job with photography, while some people can do it, seems far fetched in my situation. However, a little 'play money' here and there has made photography no longer a 'blackhole' just a deep hole :rofl

FWIW, YMMV,

Another example of what to do with a tall model, from Avedon:
