I'm helping a friend who has a SmugMug account.

He's got the code for Statcounter in his footer (the invisible version). It seems to be working, mostly. However, whenever someone goes off his main page: smais.smugmug.com, the URL is the more generic "http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/10923225_TuUMN#792199244_tPiCX", and whenever anyone clicks on those pages, it doesn't reflect in the pageloads.

We've tried adding www.smugmug.com to the Statcounter website URL list, but it doesn't work.

Any tips appreciated!

thanks,
teresa

You need to get rid of the generic URLs because they don't contain any of your customization (so no statcounter code). That's why they don't show in statcounter.

There are a couple of things that could cause the generic URLs. The usual reason is because the gallery is set to Hide Owner. Make sure Hide Owner is OFF on all galleries. If that doesn't fix it, then you will need to post a link to the homepage and a gallery with the problem so we can look into it in more detail.
