Last night I found a praying mantis and today we found a baby rabbit that our dog had in her mouth. The rabbit is fine, but if the mom does not come back we are taking it in to a special rabbit vet we know of.

That looks like a regular cotton tail.
Rabbit parents actually does not stay with their baby for long.
The mother would only visit to feed the kids and left them to forage for foods.
If you can find their nest, you can try to return her there and keep an eye of her mother. If she does not come back in 24 hours, then the mother must've felt that the nest was compromised and will not return.
Then you can pick her up and take her to your vet.

Your dog must be very gentle :thumb
