View Full Version : Need HTML color code for the brown theme
Does anybody know what the color code is for the basic brown theme background? I am wanting to create a banner that blends in with the background but I cannot figure out what the code is.

What color do you want? Your homepage has a brown gradient that is a range of colors. If you can point me to a specific block of color, it's easy for me to tell you what the color code is.
I am basically wanting to make a banner that blends in with my background. I did not realize it was a gradient. My banner will be in the upper left hand corner of my page. The webpage is www.ntgphotography.smugmug.com

I am basically wanting to make a banner that blends in with my background. I did not realize it was a gradient. My banner will be in the upper left hand corner of my page. The webpage is www.ntgphotography.smugmug.com (http://www.ntgphotography.smugmug.com) Probably the best thing to do is to make a banner with a transparent background (e.g. it has no background). Then, whatever the content is in the banner will just float on top of the background. You save your banner as a PNG image to preserve the transparency. Because of the gradient, there is no single color that will blend seamlessly as the color at the top of the banner is different than the color at the bottom.
Ok...Thank you so much! I made a banner and I put it on Transparent and it did not work but I did not save it as a png. I will try that tonight!
