Took a day trip with the Mrs. about a 100 miles south.
Someday, I'll remember to bring a tripod.

they're all really nice but the black and white is great, it's so sharp ..like an engraving on glass

beautiful shots dave! I like the slow shutter and flow of the water!

in the 1st, the b&w, perhaps consider cropping off the top portion - very high contrasts there and the foliage steals some of the falls' attention.

I'm a sucker for a good waterfall shot, but I really like the image with the stairs also. Love that last shot - how high is that falls??

Thanks guys.

I tried something a bit different in the post work for the 1st pic. Normally, when
I down size the pic for a web post, I do it in one big step. Doing it this way,
I have to re-unsharpen mask to get it sharp again. On that pic, I stepped it
down 3 times, and applied a lesser amount of sharpening on each step.
I think it was worth it.:D

I was going to crop out the lighter upper part of pic, but for some reason I like
to keep the pics in a 6x4 format. I try to darken that area later on.

The upper falls, drop about 6 to 7 feet, the lower falls, I'll guess those drop
about 25 to 30 feet.

Thanks again for looking.

Great shots!! You make me want to go back to Minneopa. I didn't have as much luck as you.

Above is one of my pics from Minneopa earlier this year when the water levels were higher.

Thanks Adam, for looking and for showing me what this looks like with some
real flowage going on.

Folks, take a look at Adams galleries, he has some great pictures there.

Thanks again.
