I shot nearly this entire day in Manual mode on my camera. This was only the second time doing this for me and I think I'm getting the hang of it. The pictures just seem to turn out better this way. Anyway... Here they are.

C&C welcome...

Very nice series. Those are some bright flowers in the bouquet, too; they made a good choice for the selective color in #1.

IMHO, #4 would have looked better if you had knelt and shot is slightly upwards instead of elevating yourself and shooting downwards.

I think #6 would look better with a slightly tighter crop around the bride.

#7 has a lot of potential for artistic manipulation; I'd try a Photoshop filter that gives a hand-painted look.

Try the "Liquify" tool in Photoshop.
Matt Kloskowski referenced using that technique to remove clothing wrinkles in portrait touch-up within a recent episode of "Photoshop Killer Tips".

Or if you don't know how to do the liquify tool....

Lasso the section and a quite a bit extra of the grass feathered at 10 or so. Hit ctrl J (command J on apple) to make a new layer of the selection, And then edit>transform>warp it into place. Mask it until the edges aren't visible and then you got it. Super simple dimple, and they'll never know. #16 is a bit trickier, since you have "hang over" but if you take care of the silhouette edge, it should't be as noticeable.

My fav is #9... gorgeous jaggedy mountains! (it is true... I am addicted.)

You did a really great job on exposure on #5... perfect!
Love 7... very purdy and love the ribbon movement. :lust

One thing to watch for in all of these are horizons or other strong background elements hitting at heads or necks or other "no no" crop places. Get low, get high, but avoid that. Like in 6, put that water line on her waist or somewhere you want to accentuate.

I bet they'll be super happy about your photos! Great work Dawson!
