I snapped this in a crowd recently and have avoided posting it for the many things I know to be wrong with it. However everytime I come upon it in its folder I am compelled to stop and study it; I don't know why. Probably because of my joyful, first-hand memory of the moment. Does anyone see any worth in this image?

Hi Angelo. It really makes me want to see the expression on the little tyke's face. If you'd gotten him with hands apart, I think it would have been better.

So was this at Disneyland? I think we were probably pretty close to you in line. We had the black and white checkerboard armbands. I meant to post a message earlier about a meetup there, but never got around to it (due to infant demands :D).

Angelo, I suspect you are correct, that the appeal of this image is due to the emotional connection between you and the child involved.

The image is acceptably sharp, but I doubt will appeal to anyone unless they are related to the child. If we could have seen his face, I mgiht feel differently. Without the face I feel like there is no center or subject for this image. Perhaps others will respond more positively.:dunno

No face = no person to connect to = no piccie. Thee's nothing to look at except some blurry hands. :dunno

What's the matter Angelo you weren't quick enough to snap the photo between claps so we could see his face? I can certainly relate to a photo having meaning to me and noone else and in teh end as long as you can relate to it it is all that matters. I have no doubt the child had a priceless expression on his face.

Hey Angelo
1st I applaud you and always out there shooting. I would not have been able to bring my camera to bear in this situation !!
I do :agree with everyone elses comment on photo, You could get a Machine Gun ( camera not gun) and then you have for sure gotten a couple with a crisp facial expression :D, but then everybody in line would have tucked for cover :rofl :D

Always look forward to seeing your posts :thumb

thanks everyone. as I suspected, not capturing his face was the primary problem here. Lord knows I tried!

My dreams will turn to a sweet machine gun future. :rofl
Better luck next time... as they say.

Thanks again guys.
