Removing gallery from galleries when place on a different page

Hi folks,
I need a little help in cleaning up my gallery page.

I have created 2 portfolio pages in the navbar. When I place a gallery in a portfolio page, I would like it not to show in the gallery page.

There is code for hiding categories on the page but you're using galleries so it will require a different method.

Follow the instructions to add the code to your page and then if you can't figure out the right CSS to hide what you want to hide, post a question in that thread with your site link and a description of which galleries you're trying to hide.

Thanks again. I will try this code this week. I not sure it's what I'm lookng for but I won't know until I give it a shot.

I'm looking for something that will automatically hide a gallery from the gallery page once I have placed it in my Portfolio1 catagory. I don't want to have to add or substrate code as I add or subtract galleries. I'm sorry for the limited description but that's my best as I'm not a programmer.
