Last in my series for today :D
Watched this tern for awhile and tried to time my shots, How'd I do :dunno
He dives

He exits

He gives it a little shake

He exits stage right empty handed, no fishy for him :D

the thing I found interesting, you can get a sense of the speed here by seeing that the original splash caused by his dive has not yet settled and he is just about out of here , pretty darn quick if ya ask me :wow :D

Great capture Ben. :thumb Its series like this that justifies our purchases of our respective machine guns.

Hey, Ben, great timing.
Can I ask, of course I can ask, would you say if those were multiple dives?
And if you were shooting in bursts when you timed the terns entry.

Hi Ginger
Of course I would, but this is one bird one dive
Continuous low burst mode at 5 fps
I always shot in burst mode by the way, I usually find that even in a short burst the second or third shot is the keeper!! :thumb
