Need a Banner made for my Homepage

I have tried without luck to make a new Banner for my homepage. I have read the info on here and smugmug help but I am thick I guess. Does anyone do this who could make a nice banner for me. I want it to read
" Tom's Photo Galleries"

This would be for general photography

I just want a nice looking banner. Colorful, maybe a sampling of some of my photros. I would like it to stand out a little. I do not want the current photo that is there. I do General photography i.e. family, traveling, scenery, firetrucks, camping etc. I am having a senior moment and mental block when I try to change what is there now. I also want the new banner to come up when ever someone looks at my photos or when I share them

also I want to use the following wording:
I am a volunteer photographer for TipTam Camping Resort. I have been photographing since I was 10yrs. old. I have had many photo's published in nationwide magazines and newspapers. Some of my photos have also been shown on nationwide TV news channels as part of the network news. I have taken many photography courses. I like taking pictures of people without them posing. It makes for a more natural photograph. I recently retired as a career firefighter after 28yrs. Founding member of New Jersey Metro Fire Photographers Association. I plan to explore more opportunities in photography. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy taking them. All Tiptam photos are available to you for the asking. Please send your request to me at sfd4@aol.com. The request must include your full name, site name, weekend name and the photos you need. It is illegal to use any of these photographs without the written permission of Tom Ernst and or TipTam Camping Resort. You're taking about a banner, right? It's fine to use a large photo as an entry point on your homepage. It's really not fine to use a large photo as a heading on your other pages - and that is what you are currently doing. I'm using a laptop with a wide but not tall screen. Your banner image takes up almost the entire screen so I need to scroll to see the photos in your galleries.

Obviously it's your site, your decision. What do you want your viewers to focus on?

--- Denise I am new to SMugmug. IF you look at the supplied Website I dont want the photo to take the whole page, focus on designing a homepage for me. Use the wording I provided, the photo of WTC somewhere on top, smaller is ok. The title would be "Tom's Photo Galleries".

Have you looked at the photo you selected in a small size? In my opinion the small image is still too tall to be used as a banner image. Yes, I know, that's just one person's opinion. (In case you didn't follow the link I provided above, read it to see my reasoning.)
