Man this hummer huntin' is tough. They sure are quick little buggers. I had to work these
over alot to get something decent. Just don't have the speed with the 828. I think this is the
first time the cameras been off of ISO64. Tried 100.

Very limited in mobility but at least I can sit by the feeders
and "watch" the hummers. They are amusing.

Excellent Al.
I have been seeing someoutstanding hummer shots lately and these are some of the best. Thanks harry, did ya notice they're not very big? Kinda' equipment limited. I'm layed up here too,
just had a lower disk removed two weeks ago. Stairs realy hurt but at least I can sit and slowly
walk. Gota use the camera somehow.:scratch
Must be all kinds of wildlife off your back patio you can shoot. Just gotta find a way to get
the DW to haul your equipment out there.:rofl

excellent Allen gotta dig that flight shot it rocks !! :thumb Thanks Ben, almost have to pre-focus and wait for a flight shot. They don't stay very long in one place. Of course with nil DOF, finding a pre-focus level is like shooting craps.
Beautiful shots. :clap Thanks Steve, my wife sat with me in the bllind for a while and also enjoyed watching these dudes, they put on a great show.
Excellent shots, wish they were mine! Thanks, it took me over a hundred shots to get just a few keepers. I've been well trained though, sitting motionless for hours in a tree bowhunting.

Very nice Allen.....having posted a few myself....I can appreciate what you've got there.......I do like them. Last evening I hung out by my deck feeder and found that they would land even with me within a foot or so of the perches. It was amazing. I could feel the turbulence on my face from their wings. I wish I could post what I saw with my eyes. Makes me wish I had a camera in my head. I really think if I tried long enough they would land on my finger next to the feeder.
Again....great shots.

Very nice work Allen :thumb :thumb
Given your equipment and physical limitations, they are fantastic :clap :clap
Like you, I really enjoy watching the feeder and seeing these little guys perform. It's better than going to the movies....LOL
