I have no idea how it happened, but I was trying to help my uncle set up his website and somehow I have deleted ALL of my codes in advanced customization on my website - ALL OF THEM. Is there ANY possible way my site can just be put back the way it was earlier. Is there any kind of backup device on smugmug where they can see what was there and just fix it back?

I have no idea how it happened, but I was trying to help my uncle set up his website and somehow I have deleted ALL of my codes in advanced customization on my website - ALL OF THEM. I have 6 children (5 of which are 6 years old and younger). I am in tears. Is there ANY possible way my site can just be put back the way it was earlier. Is there any kind of backup device on smugmug where they can see what was there and just fix it back. And our websites are somehow intertwined.

Mine is:
www.purkhiserphotography.com (http://www.purkhiserphotography.com)

His is:
www.sandhillgardens.com (http://www.sandhillgardens.com) but I haven't even linked his domain to the website yet.

Can someone please help, Anyone, I'm desperate? I'm terribly sorry to hear your Customization is gone. By any chance were you logged into both accounts in the same browser? Maybe in two different windows?

Unfortunately we do not keep a backup or history of your Customization. I'll check to see if there's anything we can do but I'm pretty sure there's no way for us to retrieve it.

I know this seems like the end of the world but we're here to help you rebuild your site if necessary. What type of Customization did you have on your site?

I really appreciate it. I thought about just giving up and finding some easy user website building, then finding a place to host it on the internet. The only reason is because I have 6 children and 5 of them are aged 6 and under. My youngest is 8 weeks old. I just don't have time like I did before. It's actually been so long that I've been on dgrin that I couldn't remember my username and password so I had to re-register (we moved and our email address changed because of our phone line situation so I couldn't have it emailed to me)!

I also don't have time because we do not have access to high speed internet anymore in our new location - only dial up :huh - so I'm limited to what I can do and how fast.

I would REALLY appreciate any help!

Thanks!:thumb

I really don't care if my website looks like my friends or the same that it looked before, just whatever is quickest! I was scrolling through some stuff and I've found some things that somehow were saved on my website. I found it under: Tools, go to control panel, then homepage. I have started to put it back the way it was.

I had 8 navbar tabs. They were: "Home, Galleries, Prices, About Me, Location, Guestbook, Schedule, Mom Tidbits" in that order.

The homepage is suppose to show nothing but my banner (http://www.purkhiserphotography.com/Other/Banner/5870657_DbWg4) the navbar, and the slideshow (http://www.purkhiserphotography.com/Other/Slideshow-hompage/2468254_HkHUq#251731026_TkAxw). The banner should show at the top of every page with the navbar under that. I have no idea where this should go: <div id="my_banner"> </div> but I think it was on my custom header in the advanced customization. I think the navbar was a black background and lit up gray when you moused over it.

The gallery marked galleries is suppose to be under my "Galleries" tab (I think I may have it linked although it's not spaced 3 galleries wide and I cannot see the navbar at the top). My bio and slideshow are smashed together. Bio should be linked under "About Me".

I think these are my main problems right now. Any help would be great! :D

Hey Carrie I just looked at your site and it looks like you've got a lot of it fixed up already. Wendee is going to get in touch with you and help you out with the rest.
