How to Practice Sports Photography at Home

In light of the ongoing Olympics, I don't know about anyone else but I find it very effective to practice timing and composition by taking photos of the TV screen during sporting events. This allows me to check the LCD and see how I'm doing on my timing.

Does anyone else do this?

I trierd this for about two hours last night while watching the Olympics. But then the wife got tired of pushing the TV back and forth as I sat on the couch.:barb

Haven't tried it during the Olympics but it does work well during tennis matches.

Try a zoom lens next time. :rofl
