A few Pelicans

looks like you caught the American White Pelican... it's one of the largest birds in North America. Good job.

All my pictures of the white pelicans are little specs of white in a sea of blue.

It's nice to see nice clear and sharp close ups of them!

Thanks All. I missed getting these guys last year. These were all taken with Canon's unimpressive 75-300 USM lens. I'm guessing that's why one a couple of my shots came out(unpredicatbility).

Job well done. Very nice captures. I would like to get some pics of this variation of pelican. I've only seen the brown version in this area. :scratch

Excellent shots and you handled a tough exposure well. I'm jealous of your access to white pelicans, we only get the browns down here normally.
