Well here it is, my first attempt at fireworks. I took peoples advice in here and they seem to have come out OK. I can't tell if they are out of focus or if that's just how they look at the settings I used. All were at ISO 100, 22mm on the 10-22mm ( I should have taken some at 10mm and tried for reflections off the water, DOH!), f/8.0, and most are at 3.2 sec but some were between 2.5 and 8 sec. I set the focus to Manual and went to infiniti and then backed off just a little, I'm not sure if that worked well though. Let me know what ya think.

Hope they are in focus, but they sure look good at web size, excellent exposure too.

Thanks Ian and Dee, it means a lot coming from you. I was very pleased with the exposure Dee, I did darken the shadows slightly in post to get rid of some of the smoke and I darkened the highlights slightly in some of them if they were a little overexposed.

Thanks, that's one of my favorites also. I just wish I would have thought to widen the shot and get pictures with the fireworks reflecting off the water. Oh well there's always next time.
