Nice idea on the first shot. Unfortunately two of your subjects looked like they rather be somewhere else. This why you take multiple shots.

It also looks to be back focused. The faces aren't sharp, but the background is.

The second one is fine, but the background here does nothing. Seeing the door and railing hurts the shot.

In the first image the skin tones look off, I think it's maybe too much yellow? Also, the bride and the girl on the far right are not smiling and are looking in a different direction than the girl in the middle. Overall they just don't look very happy.

Just my .02 Hope it helps

Did you do any more with these shots?

Don't know how those guys get good wedding shots, but it looks like the most important thing missing in your first shot is a connection with the subjects. You were probably fiddling with knobs so much that they lost interest. It's kinda funny that the bride doesn't realize that you're only trying to make her look good. But I'm sure she was tired, too.

The second shot could be improved by more levels/masking. You've got the bright shoulder working against you, but somehow you need to find a way to get more contrast in her skin--she looks kind of ashen with that conversion you've done.

I also am not a big fan of selective color.

But I gotta say, for a non-pro, pretty darn good!

They were a good start, but in the first picture, they didn't seem too happy. Like one of the people above me stated, you should take multiple pictures, so there would be a bunch to choose from, and perhaps they'd look abit happier? It's a wedding! Nice choice for positions though.

The second picture is very lovely. Shows alot of emotion, maybe wedding jibbs? Who knows? I thought it was very soft, though. Nice work.:thumb

Only one picture for whippen' each weak :deal

I love the composition of the first shot. But agree that the bride looks like
she's focused elsewhere (as is the young lady on the far right).

I think your focus point is somewhere not the bride's face. Note that this is
not back focus. But poor focus. However, I am having second thoughts and
wonder if this is the jpeg artifact. Do you have an original sized version we
could look at?

Again, nice composition and nice color.

Just add a link within your post to the original sized image. That is if you have it hosted somewhere on the web. It just dawned on me that your "too big" comment may have been aimed at your hosting site not the forums here :rolleyes

I don't really like either of the photos. The first one like someone said two of the three don't look too thrilled to be there.. one being the bride. The second picture.. she looks upset and is too focused on her bouquet.. Plus I'm not a huge fan of selective colouring or whatever the heck it's called. Jamie.
