Hello all, I have spent a little time here to get some assistance setting up my smugmug page, but I am mainly active on the POTN forums. I figured I would start showing my face around here a little bit more as it seems like a lovely place. We got some pretty good snow here this past weekend so my lady and I went out and made the most of it.

Welcome to this forum! I took a spin through your wedding galleries, nice work there! Great job on the big group shots, what lens do you use for that?

Nice opening :thumb I prefer the first 2 out of this set!

See the 'how to do most anything' link in my signature for pretty much everything around here, and let us know if you have any questions!

Really nice images!

1. I like this one best. Light is really nice. I think there's a little bit of a yellow cast here, but not much.
2. Cute shot. Minor nit is that the tip of her nose is in focus and her eyes are OOF. The image seems a bit off to the yellow side in the b/g.
3. Color balance is really nice, and the lighting is really cool.
4. I think this one is really yellow. I don't know if that's a result of you getting her face tone to not be reddish, or by design. I'd get the b/g nice and white and if you have maskable adjusts, fix the color tone on her face separately.

Thanks for the responses everyone, feeling right at home already!

adbsgicom- I appreciate the feedback and suggestions, the shallow focus in #2 definitely was a bummer, but I figured I would post it up regardless. The yellow tones that you mention are intentional, i've been playing around a bit with yellow and blue split toning in Lightroom recently.
