Escaping the sun

Walking along the Southbank a couple of weeks ago, the mid day sun was scorching, so I stopped in the Church for 20 mins, the feeling of calm was wonderful!

I really like these photos and the overall feel to them--calm and serene. I like your choice of DOF in the first photo very much. I would consider cropping just a tad from the bottom of the shelf.
