It's rainy and gray here and my session for today was postponed. So, I made my kids pose for me! LOL I'm working on skin tones and conversions. How do these look? CC is so appreciated!!

Both taken with my 50mm at f/1.8 and 1/60ss with natural light from the window.

I love 'em both. Very charming kids. Skin tones look accurate to me, but I'm not a guru on that topic.

I do prefer #1, love the highlights in the silky hair, and the eyes of course.

If #2 was processed like #1, you could hang them on your wall as a coordinating pair. :) That would likely also reduce the somewhat distracting impact that brown spot on the wood board is having (for me anyway).

Thanks! :) Hanging them together would work if I didn't have a 3rd kid in between these two! lol He DOES NOT like having his picture made though! lol

#1 I love the look and pose, but the face on the side facing the window appears to be a little blown out.

#2 The skin color and lighting is perfect, try to include his whole hand next time.

:agree with the others. I really like both, but my favorite is #2. The expression you captured put a smile on my face!

#1 for me. The catch lights in the eyes really nails it. Thanks for sharing! :D
