Wow is right. That second to last shot takes it for me. Great work. #4 and 5 are pretty awesome too. Please number your shots though, it will help people out with comments. That second to last shot is great, has great leading line, perspective, tone and lighting. I do think that all of these work really great in black and white.

The treatment is great! They really bring out the weather above you and the patterns in the ice and snow below. :D

Everyone, thanks for the pat on the back. I've been working really hard at better processing since I've never been very good at it. What's helped is I bought a few books and this has helped immensely. What I've realized is that it is a lot more work than 30 seconds to process as I did in the past.

Oh yeah, and the snow was awesome on this trip :clap.

Thanks again everyone. I was out skiing yesterday and unfortunately the light wasn't very good, but the skiing was nice.

Repeat of all the accolades you've received so far...and a special :jawdrop for #2 in your post just above. Beautiful shot. Love the kitten strapped to the pack.

Would you mind sharing the books you've read that changed your PP. They've obviously helped shape some amazing images.

And a few others I have to get to yet.

as usual, some absolutely spectacular and inspiring work. you definitely do much justice to the great outdoors of the pacific northwest. makes me want to dust off the old skis and snowshoes. i especially like #1, 4, and 8 in the first series, and the last 2 in the second. very stunning. b&w is a good call. just keep them coming!
