Don't know if this falls has an official name, but this is what the person that told me about it calls it. Paid a visit this morning.

The distance shots came out with the water overexposed :cry

must say, even living for the past two years in brevard ive never seen or heard of that falls.

I took a trip to your web page also - thank you so much for taking the time to give directions to falls, providing pictures, locations, and such! Its bookmarked on my favorites and will definately be used in the future.

Thanks for the kind comments, Austin! Glad you are finding my site helpful - that's why I started it. Good to see another person from western NC also!

This waterfall won't go on the site - it's kind of on private property. I'm pretty sure it belongs to Sapphire Lakes and they maintain it and the trail for residents and guests. If you want to go, take Hwy 64 west to Lake Toxaway. Pass the left turn for 281 south (Horsepasture River, Gorges State Park) and continue 1.5-1.75 miles on 64. Look for a green-gated gravel/dirt road on the right, then continue another 50 yards to a pull out on the right. Walk back to the gated road and up it for about 15 minutes. Stay to the right at every fork - the road fades to trail and ends at the waterfall. If you go, please treat their property with respect.
