Stairway to ... comics

What do you guys think? I can reshoot this, its a big mural with lots of colourful comics, very nice but cramped and very very reflective ( the sun was behind it, still lots of reflections).
( I know about the galss in the lower right corner )

I think you can fix the reflestion issue in post.

I gave it a shot, but in some other shots detail is mostly lost, if you want I'll email some originals if you wanna try it.

no detail in the steps... maybe try a different time of day with more suitable lighting?

My first thought is what Andy ended up saying. Might there be a time of day when the light is more generous? It doesn't seem to be very flattering. Great location for a shot, well worth return trips.

Would it be possable to shoot this from a higher view point? Like secound or thired floor level? thus avoiding the glare from the sky and getting the glass railing out of the frame.

Thanks sid and james, I'll try to visit it again soon.. The only way of getting to a higher level there is to go up those stairs tough. Plus, it's under another building and another building is right in front, so, at least no direct light.

I don't think the buildings in the back work for this shot. I would try a horizontal composition with more focus on the mural.... With the horizontal you can also get the edge of the steps to provide a nice diagonal across the image.

I see your point erich, I also thought of that while I was there, but I don't like it as much as the original.
