straw fields in southern california?

hi everybody... i'm trying to find something not too far from los angeles that might have some open areas with some tall straw like grass. i see lots of pictures with it, but i'm not sure where to go. would anybody be able to point out a couple spots?

LA is a big place.

You can try areas of Griffith Park, Palos Verdes, BAldwin Hills, Coldwater Canyon.....Malibu...

Are you looking for natural or Farm type straw?
Antelope valley between I-5 and Lancaster might have something. or Tehachipi Valley
The hard thing is to find an area that is not being grazed by cattle.
