*sigh* I'm beginning to get discouraged here. It's rained almost EVERY DAY at the best local climbing area. We headed out to do a huge climb last night. When we got there the fog was nice and thick. Visibility about 30 feet. It cleared up some in the morning so the rain could come down harder. Let me know what you all think of these pics! Specifically the first three.

I made a little use of the fog for this. Got a bunch of other foggy shots that didn't work at all.

Back to the all-too-familiar dry cabin.

Tried a little hiking to amuse ourselves, and this seemed like a decent idea.

Then of course the obligatory jump-into-the-frigid-mountain-lake-almost-naked-while-it's-raining shot. This shot was really hard to get as I was forced to stand near-naked myself, waist-deep in the icy water fresh runoff from snowfields. Gotta love it! http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif

*sigh* MAN I wish it was dry enough to climb. :(

I like all the shots. How cold was that water?

It's about a half-mile from the source, which is frozen, so it's about as cold as water ever gets. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif

I liked the last two. You really must have wanted that picture to get in the water though. I like all your posts on here, you and your friends are always up to something fun. Alaska is high on my list of places I want to go some day.

Great freezing friggin shots. The plunge in the green water is my fav.
I would NOT do that for the sake of ART, lucky you did...

CC - very cool series of shots.

I envy your ability to enjoy the beautiful resources of Mother Earth as you do.

Wow, thanks for the comments all! Didn't expect such a good response, honestly. We had a lot of fun making something good out of a rainy day. And yeah, my legs were numb for a bit after taking that last pic. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif
