Winter in NorCal is possibly one of my favorite places to be. This week has been full of rain, wind, fog, and some of the most dramatic cloud formations I've had the pleasure of seeing with my own two eyes.

Most of the time I'm looking at it from the window at the office, but we managed to get out for a few hours yesterday.

Not as stellar as some of the other rainbow shots I've seen lately, but someone could have told me I was back in Scotland and I would have believed it!

Thanks for looking, and if you find that pot o' gold, PM me. :lol3

I was looking across the bay on Friday at those same hills! January is the primetime for awsome skies, clouds and green hills! Quick...they'll turn golden any day now. We were able to spy a double rainbow in Saturday, all I had was my iphone handy...

Light like that does not need a rainbow. Very yummy.

Very colorful and serene Schmoo! It looks like the pot of gold is already there - on the green, golden hillside where the sun shines! Really - this is simply beautiful!

GREAT shot. So many things to love about it- the combination of sun rays & rainbow, the vibrant green of the hillside, the huge constrast between the dark and light portions of the sky..

Well done! :thumb

Gorgeous, Schmoo. I love the contrast between those lime green hills and the stormy sky.:clap

Great light and well captured. Excellent.

The Bay Area between storms is the best.

Thanks, guys. I have seen more rainbows this past week than I have my entire life. Nice catch, Doug!
