It's been a while since the last uploads. Been battlin' a torn medial meniscus (knee cartilage) and have not been out and about much. These were snapped out in the back yard (as often is the case). The tree across the canal has been taken over by a great egret as of late.

Thanks Ginger. Looks like knee surgery. I need to be more careful and stop falling down stairs and off docks. :wxwax I hope this egret decides to give me some nice "in flight" shots one of these days soon. I've sat out there for too long waiting for the doo doo to take off. He never does. Even ughmmm threw a rock towards him. Pfffff didn't budge. Looked at me like I was an idiot. :rolleyes

Thanks guys. It's taken a good while to figure out exposure for the white birds on the newish 20D. (-EV 1.25ish) depending on the bright Florida sun. I've blown too many highlights on these birds.....grrrrr.
