I went down to Banff National Park, hoping to climb some big mountains on the Columbia Icefields, but weather wasn't good enough there. Instead climbed a few others, an 11k and 9k peak in the Canadian Rockies.

If you want to read more about the trip. I wrote up a little trip report that you may enjoy that also has a few other photos (link (http://cascadecrusades.org/SkiMountaineering/canada/hector2010/hector2010.htm)).

Really love the flowing lines you typically have in your photos such as #4-6

Outstanding series! I agree with the magazine idea for #1--it belongs on a cover someplace. I really like the lines and the sunstar, plus the action is just right. Well done!

I'm not a skier but I love mountains and snow, so I thoroughly enjoyed this series--thanks for sharing!

As usual, your photos make me drool. The combination of location, time and light is perfect. I can't really decide which one I like best, maybe #1 for its light and action. I had a look at the link you provided and there are some photos that should be included in this post: they're amazing! :bow
