Heres an action shot of a BMW i took out the side of our van....it came out pretty well considering it was taken through a window.

Thanks!

underexposed. not interesting really, to me. the car's cut off. there's nothing visually appealing in the bg, either.

I kinda like it :D though I do regret that you've cut off the @ss :rolleyes
I especially like the lighting on the front, it stnds out, if that was your purpose then I'd say, nice shot :D
It could do with some more interesting background, but that's not always an option I guess :wink
Thanks for sharing

Hey, that's the nature of this forum. Says so right in the name of it "aka The Whipping Post."
No mollycuddling for those who dare to venture here! Only straightforward, unvarnished feedback.

I like the nose very much, nice light and sharp enough. Nice blur. Too much room to the left, car cut off on the right, and the last two-thirds of the car are way too dark. Some good stuff, but doesn't work over all.

Well, that's a very nice start, then. Hard to do a good job framing a moving object, but it makes all the difference in the world. And then you have to think about the light!

Totally agree, that's the best way to learn!
About the shot, the only point of interest for me, as it has already been said, is the flattering light in the front of the BM.
( blurring the plate was a nice touch :P )

I would like to see the entire car, or to increase the exposure length a little more in order to blur the background and rear of the car a little more to show more motion... as in the car is flying right into the frame.
If this was your first attempt, very nicely done!!!
