in abstract-y sort of way, it's got some (mild) interest for me. the negative space doesn't add for me. overall, i don't like it really, i'm kind of lost when i view it.

I like the falling ice. I don't like the huge areas of black. Seems like the framing's off by a bit, no? I also like what appears to be streaming water, but it's hard for me to make it out. I reckon that might come back to the framing thing.

I really like it, very "artsy". Looks like something I would see at an art fair sold as a 16x20. I think it is very powerful. Amazing how B&W can be the perfect medium in some situations. I like how the falling ice is blured, showing the motion. What might be interesting to try would be shooting it again with a little longer shutter speed and using a rear-curtain flash to solidify the motion.
