I am sure I can do better but I can't resist showing off my niece. This was totally unposed, she was really digging her Granola Bar. I wish I had my flash handy so I could have kept her hand in focus but wasn't to be.

Excellent expression! Sometimes capturing the emotion beats the technical flaws. Thanks for sharing it with us! :thumb

Hi Eric,

I like the fact that Julia's hand is not in focus--it lends the photo a more dynamic feel--the movement of the hand--the fact that the granola bar is about to enter her mouth.

Great angle and choice of black and white.

I have to echo the comments above. Great choice for B&W with a priceless expression. And the out of focus hand provides a bit of an edge to the photo - demonstrates the spontaneity of the moment.
