Happy New Year !!

Taken on new years eve, not as good as i'd like.. but better than my last attempt at fireworks.. :lol3

all taken with my tammy 17-50 @ iso400. It is difficult to frame on a tripod when directly under them (variance on which way they will go). so 3 of these were handheld. C&C (tips on shooting fireworks) much welcomed.

Nice job. #4 is the big winner for me. The trails on the arms make me think of a Phoenix or Firebird.

Hey Andrew - many thanks. i originally thought when looking at #4 it reminded me of an anemone(sp), that one was at the beginning of the night when there was still some cloud cover.. soon after it got very clear (and very cold).
