Hi - No, I'm not planning to jump! Thought I'd try out my Sony VCL-ES06 conversion lens from the top floor in our apartment building.

Photographed with Sony Cybershot DSC-S85 in 1.3 megapixel mode.
Settings: Handheld, Aperture F/2 Shutter speed 1/30 ISO-160

Very nice, I like stairs shots, or shots that provoke ( sp? ) emotions, like fear of heights :-) . Anyway, seeing as you can reeshot it, try other times of day to get different lightning as the floors change.

Interesting shot, I like it. If you leaned over a bit more, you could have bullseyed the comp, just don't fall. David's idea of different lighting could be quite interesting with this subject. There are some classic shots like this in B&W which also include someone on the stairs. Can't remember who shot them though.

Sure hope you have an elevator for normal use:D.

I've also noticed that you've been shooting in 1.3mp mode; why? Just curious.

Hi Chris - I have been very satisfied with the 1.3mp mode for general photographic purposes. The added bonus..... being able to save more shots to the memory stick. I must admit though that I am using the maximum 4.1 mp mode for nature shots when using both my EagleEye OpticZoom and reverse macro lenses. The latter mode is beneficial for cropping purposes as a certain degree of vignetting always occurs.

Thank heavens for that elevator!
