Washed out looking photos?

Ok so after processing my photos on Photo shop and saving it as an 8bit jpg The photos seem washed out or unsaturated if I want to print at walgreens. The colors are fine on my site and if I order from smugmug, the way they were meant. Any ideas as to why the the files turn out that way if I want to take them to walgreens for a quick print?

You probably are exporting using the Adobe RGB color space and then using a non-color-aware browser (Let me guess… Windows?).

You should export JPEGs that you intend to view on the web or print at a lab as sRGB in general, unless you are absolutely sure they are in a color managed environment.
