went to the grocery and picked up this interesting curvy model for some possible challenge entries. what do you think?

I like the first one. The pattern on the bowl takes away from the subject (IMO), so deff the first one! And I also have to say YUCK... it looks slimy and gros... I could never touch one! :uhoh

I agree with invective in that #1 does the best for the challenge. As for the Yuck part, well, they are rather tasty little suckers:D. I just hate it when they suction cup themselves to the roof of my mouth:huh.

I'm not sure that I like the cut off bowl though. It breaks from all the wonderful curves. Maybe a smaller bowl and include the entire curve of the rim. Just a though and my .02.

hey, thanks for your inputs. i was a little afraid of the "yuck" factor too. i'll try a different crop on #1.

I like the composition of #3, but the bowl is distracting. Try a solid color bowl. The idea is good.
