I just purchased a new CANON 20D and I am looking to sell my Nikon 35mm equipment or trade for comparable Canon 35mm equipment (as I still want to be able to shoot film). Is there anyone out there looking to do the same (but reversed)?
I have a Nikon 8008s AF SLR with a couple of lenses and a Nikon Speedlight (flash). As I said, I am looking to sell or trade.
Lenses:
Nikon AF 35-70mm f3.3-4.5
Vemar (manual focus) 135mm f2.8
Sigma (manual focus) 24mm f2.8
Flash: Nikon Speedlight SB-24
Please let me know if you are interested?

Jim is local to me and we have been chatting bout some stuff in email. Although I can't personally vouch for him if anyone is interested I'm sure he wouldn't mind me checking out the equipement and giving you a report on it if you wanted. Better than ebay feedback even. :D

It is okay for Dragon (Gary) to inspect the equipment. My ebay username is jmitte76. A swap would obviously be easiest if someone were local to Michigan, but I am sure shipping could be arranged. I am new to Dgrin, but a compliment to all of you... I like it here! Everyone is very friendly. My Canon 20D is set to land on my doorstep tomorrow (I hope UPS is right). Needless to say I am excited.
By the way, not sure if you have ever heard of Craigslist, but it is a site that offers free local classified ads. I used it to sell my old darkroom stuff and it works well. It is local to most places. Check out http://www.craigslist.org

My 20D arrived, which means I need to make room (and money for accessories). Does anyone have any interest in purchasing any or all of the Nikon equipment listed above? I can provide photos interested.
I have probably less than 3000 actuations on the 8008s and probably less than 200 on the flash.
My primary camera (still have and love it) was a older Canon FT (all manual) and the lens I lived and died by was a 70-210mm f4 Tamaron (actually, really sharp), so the Nikon didn't see much action.
