Having a two day convention in Las Vegas on January 15-16. Looking for a local photographer to cover it. Anyone interested, or have a lead?

BeachBill (http://www.joricel.com/) is in Vegas, but I don't know if he does events, but he knows his way around the camera, especially around Woodies. His new calendar is coming out soon! :D

joey_joey_joey (http://www.joricel.com/) is a guy that's active on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/joey_joey_joey/)/strobist/getty/twitter front (not on dgrin)and his body of work is decently impressive and has a handle on the lighting front. He does some of the product shots for one of Thomas Keller's restaurants (drools!) and I know he has covered some high end foodie events in Vegas. Our paths have crossed (but never met) and I've exchanged a few e-mails from him. He's worth a call in my opinion...

I am close enought to cover something those dates. I have been doing a ton of events locally.

I'm a vegas local and am very willing to work on this. Contact me if you'd like more info, I shoot with 5DII and 40D. I love event work. I don't currently have any indoor events in my portfolio, but here are a couple galleries of outdoor events.

I just accidentally stumbled across this thread. Thanks for the vote of confidence April.

I do shoot events, etc. I'm currently available all day Saturday (Jan 16), but the 15th would be tricky as if I get my act together I will be doing a mini gallery showing on Friday night.

I will give my vote to Lisa (darkdragon) for this, and I would be willing to tag team with her on Saturday too.

My most recent event was the Las Vegas Great Santa Run (http://www.billgerrard.com/session/SantaRun09) that I shot for Opportunity Village (a local charity).
